Ultra... pedal-powered quadricycle for senior

Hi there

Don 't get the back to upright , if you don't carry some of your weight on your back you will probably get ' recumbent butt ' [ I kid ye not ] where it will go numb and that can come on in less than 250 yds if you have the seat design wrong [ don't ask how I know ;) ]

There is a delta trike here
that has a sprung seat and other features.
Now I am not endorsing ANY of these features as I have no experience of them , however a few seem dubious or of little value ?

Paul,
Thank you on interesting video - with swinging and dancing seat. I think that it would be too much for me, the same as many other of "improvements". maybe useful for somebody, but I wouldn't need them...
Only, I do not know what they think with "FOOT-BRAKES"! Is that old-style contra-brake/coaster-brake? Turning pedals backwards - activated is inside brake on the rear wheel? But, in their case, just on one wheel? And, no brakes on front wheel? No suspension anywhere? Too much complication on other issues not so important (for me). However, it is useful to see all that so that I could be sure not to try all that.

P.S.: I am not sure what could be "recumbent butt", but I know that it could not be anything good or nice (feel not good and not to show around?)! Therefore - 45° backrest, proper seat-plate (thicker foam?) and good height!

Ciao,
