Please be aware that we shall be "bimbling along" even though Paul is a bona-fide Racing Snake with world Championships and Pedal-Car racing credentials to prove it.

This is for 2 reasons; 1. I'm far from fit and my right knee is particularly dodgy. 2. Lower speeds extend the life of my e-assist battery. :)
But if you are local/willing to travel its a good time and lots of fun (eating and drinking). :)

Well, we went, we rode, we enjoyed; and we had a ruddy-good chin-wag as well.
I don't really do pictures but here is the only one I actually took. Those white things in the background are not discarded carrier-bags, they are Swans. :)

Largely uneventful from a cycling perspective, one e-bike battery shortfall (a few miles), and one jacket chewed by a chain and disrupting a chain-tube. Can't remember the miles exactly but it was 20+ on day 1 and 35 ish on day 2 and today was about 15 or less maybe.

Weather was terrific, I got sunburnt and bits of my forehead top-layer are departing in swathes of crispy pork crackling. ;)

Paul took quite a few pics so I would hope he will share them here later.

So down the side of the GuidedBusWay very much like being in the Netherlands flat and a wet landscape [ lakes and drainage ] and sometimes windy....

It is really a doubled edged sword having Dan behind , he can't really be trusted to be in front and navigate however he also needs a sweeper behind him to collect the bits that fall off ;) I can't be in 2 places at once !!!

Someone at a pub we visited for lunch tried the Python and returned with the ' recumbent grin '

This was the destination for the long ride , this picture was taken just after the one Dan put up.

I was concerned for the safety of the trikes as we were indoors so offered to move them and lock them together , now Dan said ' good ' I have something important to do......

Really !

Dan has just found out they don't do Jellied Eels .....

Now as befits some very important people [ us I am talking about !!! ] we only frequent the best places ?
The picture on the wall shows the Prince of Cambridge and his wife and above it is this plaque.

So we got the best table in the house.
According to the staff there is also a room upstairs as the princess sometimes comes and gets a little tipsy and goes for a lie down ?

So we rode , ate , drank and had a good time , no one got wet which is a bonus.

Paul
