New Finnish Quad Arcus III

Hi all

Not seen this before Arcus III although I remember seeing Arcus I and maybe Arcus II ?

It does have a larger turning circle of 8m than the picture of the wheel angles would suggest ?

Probably caused by it's length , it is very long !

Body is pretty ?

Nice build thanks, stretchy fabric on light frame fairing is appealing , two in one summer trike and winter velomobile.

Maybe the turning radius is large despite good steering angle due to the long wheelbase ?

So they built a quad on monobeam frame, makes sense for front wheels and if you are not looking for ultra low seat, but I can t see how the rear is made?

Would you think the monobeam allows for some torsional flex helping to keep 4 wheels on the road ?

He is all over the place with his thread , however what I reckon is ...

He preferred this to the trike it is nice and short however not suited to the fitting of a body...

So he chopped the front off and lengthened it , then is building a body in a similar way to the trike for it ?

The turning circle no doubt refers to the very long wheelbase quad. The taddy's would be much smaller.

Those wooden frames hint at a different body construction method than the taddy.
