Electric trike

Looking for electric rear wheels for my trikes I'm building. Started years ago when my legs were good but time has passed and now I
want to finish the project by going electric. 28mph wheels seem like the right speed.

Multiple wheels and/or multiple trikes?
Tadpole or Delta trike(s)?
What does a 28MPH wheel look like to you?
Are you talking about a 28MPH capable hub motor in a wheel?
The speed will depend on the torque and max RPM of the hub motor and the size of the wheel.
Most countries limit e-bikes to sensible speeds for use on roads to c. 15.5MPH.
Is a Bafang or TongSheng mid drive motor a good option for you?

What size, with or without a cassette or freewheel facility and why a hub motor? Why not a mid drive? 28mph is a very specific speed - I've never heard of wheels rated by speed but by wattage. Generally you need 1000W to hit about 30mph. I wouldn't want to do that on a high narrow delta. Tell us what you are building and the advice will be much more relevant.

Whoa, did I jump into the deep end of the pool. I am as green to electrics as I was to starting my trikes, and I think, oh ,don't star me to lying, but had to make some radical cuts on my steering wheels, so they would track straight without holding the handle bars, so don't know the name of the trike but I'd do the easier one next time. And I was just reading some posts about electric bikes and I guess 28 MPH was their desired speed. Seemed cool to me but I guess that is pretty fast on a trike. It just that motorcycle kid in me that rear up and says SPEED feed me SPEED. But I'm still a ways off my boat is in front of the trikes, I'd say probably, fall and I'll be in trike mode again.
