I see it has a realy included as well as space for 2 additional relays.
Your going to need the relay as discussed couple weeks ago

I got the kit yesterday and they tried to give me a different kit. One that didn't include all the extras's.
Sent a message last night with requested photos and this morning @ 5:35 a.m. I got an offer to resend the product or receive a refund.

I want the kit, so I'm expecting them to resend the proper kit to me.
I'm waiting on an update to my reply as we speak.
Stay tuned for further updates.
 
what is missing and can you use the kit as is?
Also report to Ebay about issue.
IF you can use the kit in hand then use it since they might not want to pay shipping etc or they do not have the correct kit.
Note in your application you should not need all the fuses etc.

Everything that is shown in the listing photos, except the main harness and the 3 spare fuses.
And the harness they gave me wasn't the 'marked' version listed.
No instructions - though I went directly to the ProComp Electronics website to get the instructions.

I could use it as is I suppose, but I didn't get what I paid for. THAT! doesn't sit well with me.
In any case, they are being responsive to my complaint and I'm expecting they will send me the correct item.
I've had to use eBay guarantee before and they have helped to get my money back.
 
Update - After some monkey business with the seller, I finally got the correct (I hope) harness on order.
And at the agreed-upon previous reduced price.
Should be here next Wed/Thu.
I have started working on the schematic.
Seems simple enough at this point.
It has a relay installed, but I'm not sure what I should be using it for. Wiring it too.

This is just a rough idea of what circuits I may need.


The instructions, that will be coming with the kit.
I won't be needing all that is in the instructions, but it helps to get started.
 
I got the wiring harness this morning - earlier than expected.

All the components were there, BUT! there's always a BUT!.
The diagram they sent with the harness isn't much good. It definitely isn't accurate and not much good as a guide either.

So I've taken matters into my own hands. What has been a benefit is the wires are marked as to what they are intended for.
Not that they will be used in that manner but it gives me a starting point.

Here I am trying to make sense of where each wire is attached, what color they are, and how they labeled them.
Have all the fuse sizes annotated and colored coded.

Next is to diagram out how the battery and converter hook up to this and then on to the switches/terminal blocks or components.





This isn't completed yet. Some terminals will be used for other components.
I still need to see how the fuse block is put together and how each connection works with other connections.

 
Are you making any progress with the wiring?

I ordered a different fuse panel. The other one was way over what I needed.
I knew that going in but thought it might be easier. NOT!

I've been working on rearranging my wiring. I was up late working on it and it isn't quite finished.
I'm being advised that I don't really need a relay, so you won't see one here. Not yet anyway.

At least I hope not.

Received the new 6 fuse panel today.
Set about getting the last diagram corrected and updated using this new fuse panel.

Changes made.

Eliminates the direct short in the fuse block - The fuse block I ordered had ( +) and (-) posts.
The one I received looks the same, except there is no Plus/minus. I opened it up (see pic) so I could tell what was what.



Added remaining wires from turn signal switch
Added a negative bus bar.
Color-coded the wiring

Still not a final diagram.

Need to let this one sink in while I continue to ponder the relay/switch relationship.

I hate to ask but can you draw out your diagram without the pic. Hard to tell what is what

I can, but it's only the connection points for the POS/NEG wires going to the converter and another set going to the voltmeter.
It shows the 48-volt terminal blocks and the POS/Neg coming in from the battery

Anything 'before' the picture is all 48 Volt. This diagram shows only what is needed for the 12-volt circuits.

If I am looking at it right, the converter is connected and on 24/7

It looks that way to me as well. It looks like there is power to the converter 24/7 . . . (if battery is on)
The switch is for turning the internal circuitry on via a key switch in this case.

Below are the instructions for connecting the converter.
