Just what I was looking for as a deterrant for those cars coming a bit close when i am riding along the road. 
Steering looks interesting generally you either have a differential and divert the motive force to one track or the other.
or
you brake one track , they both have there plusses and minuses.
however he seems to have a wheel on each side under the front inside the tracks and he brakes that , looks like judging from the length of the levers he needs quite a bit of force ?
